This online service is for reporting non-emergency incidents that occurred within the city limits of Wilmington, North Carolina.
Examples of crimes that may be reported using the online submission are:
- Stolen Property ($1000 or less, excluding all residential and commercial burglaries, motor vehicle thefts and firearms)
- Tampering with a motor vehicle
- Vandalism/Property Damage
- Phone harassment
- Lost property
- Other information that does not require immediate police action or enforcement
You must enter a VALID telephone number and email address for any report submission
Reports submitted online must meet the following conditions:
- Must have occurred in the city limits of Wilmington, NC
- There must be no evidence to process (ex: videos)
- The crime must not be in progress
- The crime can not be a violent crime
You may not use this site to report the following types of incidents:
- Arson
- Purse Snatching
- Shoplifting
- Accidental Damage to property
- Frauds
- Stolen Vehicles
- Stolen Firearms
- Runaways or missing person
- Any incident where evidence may be collected
- Assaults
- Domestic Violence
- Traffic accidents
- Larceny from motor vehicles
- Lost or stolen tags
